The injections themselves are generally well-tolerated. To ensure your comfort, we offer numbing cream, numbing injections, and skin cooling during the procedure. Additionally, most of our dermal fillers are infused with anaesthetic to further minimise any potential discomfort.

As with any injection, it’s possible to experience some redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising after treatment.
These effects typically subside within 2-3 days, although bruising may take longer to resolve. We recommend scheduling your treatment with at least two weeks to spare before any significant social or work commitments.

Optimal results are usually achieved in one to two sessions. If additional treatment is needed, it is typically scheduled after two weeks to allow any swelling or bruising to subside.

We recommend avoiding blood-thinning medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen (unless prescribed by your doctor) for 3 days before your appointment. It’s also best to avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior.
